Sediment sampling

  • 2 Livingstone sediment corers w/ up to 10 meters extension rods and custom push/pull winch
  • 2 Ogeechee sediment corers
  • Wink Vibracore: This vibracore can penetrate a variety of sedimentary materials up to 45 feet deep (with the current setting ), with the possibility to add more in 5-foot intervals. Coring capability: 45 ft with 2 1/4 inches rods; 5 ft with 1 1/4 inches rod. The ability to drill without any lubricating fluid makes the corer ideal to prevent sample contamination and to be used in cold and regulated environments.

Laboratory
